People who appreciate this update
Is there any of them out there? This board is unreadable because of all the crap thats get posted. ( 0h N03s! /\/\y 55 |s t3h suxors! ) The 55 nerf was obviously going to happen sometime. It shouldnt be that surprising. I cant be the only one who likes the update? I like the little "bubble" dmg things. The little skill icons can be turned off, no big deal there if ya dont like em. I love pretty much everyting. I dont care if they nerfed my troll farming, ill still live. Well, who else likes this update?

No no, I like it to man. Makes things interesting. 55 was boring as hell for me anyways as were trolls. I mean you can still farm them with warrior if you have time, like me so that's what Ima do.
The monster update, makes things more interesting in FoW and other difficult places as well. The SS nerf, well isn't that big of a deal, now necro's get to try out something else. I mean, I have other uses for mine rather than SS and MM.
Oh..AND I LOVE THE TEMPLATES.

Ok, cool. I thought i was the only one who liked it. I just see a lot of threads that say this is the end of guild wars!, or RIP Guild wars, or "The Apocalypse is coming" or something like that. I couldnt imagine anyone who would stop playing the game because they can't be "Guild Wars Millionaires"

Compared to other premature declarations of the GW apocalypse, I think this one has been far better received. There will always be complaints, but that's life.

i love just about everything in the update.. .just not the AoE changing, and them silly monsters running away every 2 seconds you hurt them... this changes the pve aspect of the game so much, it looks more like pvp. in my opinion, i dont really like it, but i dont seem to have a choice...
on one side i hate the salvaging of items now... a lot of my perfect gold items are now worth nearly nothing... but i can make my own nice skinned perfect weapons easier and cheaper now just too bad of that 15^50 req8 storm bow...
conclusion: ill live with it

I'm loving the update, I just wish that Farming hadn't gotten hit so badly. Not that I care, I'm used to living poor but my guildies are driving me crazy with all their whining >_< .

Yeah. You should have seen the update that turned all damage reduction for warrior armor to only physical.
All hell broke loose.

this update is awesome except the antifarming portion. problem is you can still farm with a 55. this was a feable attepmt to hurt farming. yes it slowed it down but for me it totally killed me. i was on the verge of making a warrior/everything thanx to ANet (@$$Hole Net) i am no longer able to create a warrior/everything without wasting my entire life on this game. i personally could care less about the cash i earn i just want the skill points so i dont have to spend years.

lol I thought I'd like this, then I was out trying to see how many skills are affected...so I try this, I'm out cyclone axe farm + triple chop at maatu... ok it works like normal, they scatter when they're getting low health. Alright cool.
Then to kill time till we get favour, me and a buddy are on a totem axe run (for the plant fiber lol), get out there...well the skale follow us past the pool with the wind riders... ok that's kinda dumb but sure, farming is not allowed anymore I get the point. They eventually lose aggro, we see a behemoth, the life pods pop up and we go to kill one.
Well I land one hit, it starts running...chase after it...it keeps running. IT DIDN'T stop till we trapped it and finally killed it. Proceeded to try and kill the other two pods. Same thing. Hit it and it starts running... when it's at like 90+% health! That was 5-10mins of killing one behemoth essentially! uhhh what? How was this supposed to work...
So then to check and see if it does it during a mission, me and the buddy went to D'Alessio and just entered me and him, no problems there... So I have no idea what's going on? Is it just highly farmed spots where the AI is in run away mode, or only when few players in those areas? Or was it a glitch, I even took pics and it's quite funny the little buggers kept running away! anyway, I like a lot about the update (although the dmg numbers are somewhat ridiculous, please make option to go back to old way!), but the whole thing about the guys running away after EVERY hit... that was just silly. Anyway I hope things get straightened out cause it could make things brutal!

ITs too bad really. Now boss assasination runs are the only viable farming options. they still haven't fixed the main reason peopel farm which is the massively decreased drops for gruops. make gruop drops 8x normal drops and then you've no problem with getting money. and your need to farm is gone.
